A Poem for the Week

Recalling younger days

As I turned one,
I completely depended on Mum.

When I was two,
I loved to see cartoons of 'Pooh'.

As I had turned three,
I had many scratches on my knee.

And when I was four,
I started pre-school looking for much more.

As I turned five,
I could conduct a band without a cry.

When I was six,
I was in a fix.
For I had to go to college,
And I missed the girls of my age.

But now that I am about to be seven,
I hope life will be as sweet as heaven.
For I look forward,
To be as clever as ever.
