Financial Times - Dankotuwa products at Selfridges, London

Dankotuwa products, for the first time, is being sold atLondon’s prestigious store Selfridges.

Dankotuwa has been selling in UK through its agent Fairmont and Maine for over 12 years. The company said that during the last Ambiente Fair which was held in Frankfurt in February Selfridges showed an interest in the Plus and Tavola shapes designed by Pof Wolf Karnegel and produced by Dankotuwa Porcelain Ltd. “Last month a shipment of Dankotuwa products made its way to Selfridges through its UK agent. This is another feather in our cap and also prestigious to Sri Lanka,” said company chairman Sunil Wijesinha elaborating on the acceptance of Dankotuwa products by many top European, US and Japanese retailers.
