Ladies’ College wins WP Athletics Meet

Ladies’ College emerged winners at the Western Province Inter School Athletics Meet held at the Sugathadasa Stadium last week with 50 points with Musaeus College (39 points) and Gurukula Vidyalaya (34 points) coming 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Dhanushki Perera was judged the Under 15 Champion. A new meet record with a timing of 26.7 seconds for the 200m record was established by her.

Ladies’ College won the Junior Relay Champion Cup and became the Overall Junior Champions of the meet.

In March, Ladies’ College became the Circuit Champions and then won the Zonal Championship.
