Ronique : ‘Where beauty transcends time'

Kanchana Wijayaratne and Ruwan Edirisinghe opened the doors of 69, Ward Place, Colombo 7 on the 11th of May 2006 to welcome friends to explore and experience Sri Lanka's first designer jewellery store - Ronique.

One year on, Ronique has become the haven for discerning jewellery lovers who appreciate design and master craftsmanship. Just a year in operation, but definitely one of the most talked about jewellery houses in Sri Lanka, Ronique takes pride in being the Sri Lankan designer jewellery company that markets self branded jewellery and accessories targeted at specific needs of its growing clientele.

With the opening of her doors Ronique dazzled Sri Lankan jewellery lovers with the introduction of Ronique Fashion, Ronique Romance, Ronique Men, Ronique Tahti collection, Little Ronique and Ronique Corporate a unique range of specialised corporate gifts.

The Ronique Fashion department comprises of unusual and eye catching items of jewellery suitable for everyday wear as well as for evening wear. These exquisitely crafted items vary from contemporary Italian designs to mesh gold jewellery in five colours, jewellery set with Tahitian and south sea pearl to 'Sri Lankan fusion' designs set with stunning coloured gem stones and diamonds.

The Romance department is for the pure romantic: if you are searching for the perfect engagement ring or for your wedding jewellery, this is the collection that you would have dreamed of. The Romance collection also features jewellery that's ideal to celebrate those moments of romance and for remembrance of romantic time.

Inspired by the Finnish word "Tahti" which means "star", the Ronique Tahti range comprises of the best that is on offer at Ronique. They are one-of-kind extraordinary works of art, hand made by our team and exhibited within a specific collection. Each piece of the Tahti range would have taken more than 3 months to produce and has a uniquely inspirational idea behind its unique design - our promise is never to reproduce the item of jewellery.

The RQ MEN range is slowly but steadily becoming known as providing exclusive men's jewellery and accessories in the Sri Lankan market place. This collection has some of the more innovative pieces that one would set their eyes on, in the men's fashion market.
