Asha Central selling Horton Place property

Asha Central Hospital is selling off its 60-year old hospital property at Horton Place in Colombo to raise funds for its new 13 storey hospital at Norris Canal Road, adjoining the General Hospital.

The company has called for bids from prospective buyers for 291 perches in one block or in suitable blocks to developers of 50 and 25 perches.

The company is presently negotiating with some parties for a deal to finance the new hospital, which will be in operation in 2011.
