Possession (movie of the week)

While researching 19th-century poet Randolph Henry Ash, a pair of literary sleuths, Roland Michell and Maud Bailey, stumble upon a love letter written by Ash, who was supposedly faithfully married, to Christabel LaMotte, a lesser-known poet believed to be a chaste spinster.

In unearthing the Victorians' amorous secret, the contemporary scholars find themselves falling under a passionate spell as they embark on a journey that challenges their fundamental beliefs about themselves.
