STC 'Grand Sing-a-Long'

Next Saturday, 11 August will be a red letter day in the lives of old Thomians and others from the music loving world when at 7.30 pm at the Banquet Hall of the BMICH the first note will be sounded for the 'Grand Sing-a-long' organized by the special events team of the STC/OBA.

STC 'Grand Sing-a-long' is organized for the noble cause of raising the much needed funds for the renovation of the building, the Chapel of the Transfiguration, which has been identified as a national heritage.

Tickets have been priced reasonably at Rs 500/- to enable friends and families to form a table of ten. Of course, you could come single and double too. Anyone who loves perennial favourites, especially the evergreen hits of yesteryear, would be entitled to come and 'sing-a-long' to the music of Sohan & the X-Periments with a guest appearance by Sunil Perera (Gypsies) and the evergreen compere, Vijaya Corea.

An elegant Song Book will be presented to everyone who buys a ticket. This will indeed be a life-long souvenir. Tickets are available at Keells Supermarkets, Crescat Boulevard and Liberty Plaza, Vibrations, Quickshaws and the College Gym.
