Kandy beauty salon now offer SPA luxury

The latest addition to Salon Stephanie's is the SPA concept. “What would you feel if you entered a beauty salon with a SPA and if you knew you are going to be pampered with a good facial and a head to toe body massage followed with a steam bath,” asks Corrina Sansoni, owner of Salon Stephanie's.

She says the body massage is an integral part of many beauty treatments and it is an essential tool of many beauticians and adds that she opened her SPA for those reasons. Sansoni said the advantages of a body massage were many and particularly as an answer to stress. She said while many massage centres are mushrooming in and around Colombo, there aren't many in Kandy except at star class hotels and ayurvedic centres.

Sansoni has been trained in India, Malaysia and Thailand for body massaging and spa therapy. At the newly introduced spa facility a special called ‘The royal wedding treatment’ awaits brides-to-be. It starts with a good herbal scrub, followed by a body massage, a steam bath and a body wrap, manicure and pedicure. The treatment will end up with a gold facial.
