No patch-up between Vittachi troika and Jayawardena

Despite the stock market speculation of a patch-up between business tycoon Harry Jayawardena and his former colleagues - V.P. Vittachi, Chairman Stassen Exports Limited (SEL) and Milford Exports Ltd (MEL) and directors Raj Obeysekere and Zacki Alif, sources close to the trio said there is no such ‘reconciliation’ between the two parties.

“There is and will be no compromise. They are not patching up,” a company source told The Sunday Times FT. Speculation of a coming together fuelled share prices of HNB, Lanka Milk Foods and Distilleries Corporation of Sri Lanka (DCSL) in which the four jointly have a majority stake, increased in the past two weeks.
