Ton up Angelos put Colts on top

The Joe-Pete combination of Angelo Mathews and Angelo Perera cracked tons to help Colts to come on top against Ragama CC at the end of the first days play in their Under 23 Division One inter-club cricket encounter played at the Co1ts ground.

Mathews slammed his third ton when he made a knock of 126 which included 17 boundaries while Perera cracked 100 with ten boundaries and three sixes as the pair put on a massive 207 runs partnership for the fourth wicket.

Sachith restricts Police
A six wicket haul by left arm spinner Sachith Pathirana helped Schools Under 20 XI restrict Police to a score of 196 on day one of their match played at the Po1ice Park. Schools Under 20 XI in their turn were 66 for no loss.
