Central Bank online Sales Counter for coins, publications

The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) has opened an online sales counter at its website www.cbsl.gov.lk.
The CBSL website is among the popular websites in the country recording more than 80,000 visitors per day, the Bank said last week. Researchers, policy makers, students, journalists, businessmen and many other professionals frequently visit the CBSL website for information on economics and finance.

The online sales counter is a newly added feature to the site. The CBSL publications and commemorative coins are available for sale through this online counter. In addition to the CBSL publications, a collection of 11 different commemorative coins, a folder of a commemorative note and three packs of coins during different periods of issue are available for sale.
