A felicitation of director and the artistes involved in the production of "Karuwala Gedara", a teledrama based on Dr. Martin Wickremasinghe's novel under the same title will be held at 3 pm on November 27 at Mahaweli Centre, Colombo-07.

Organised by 'Sahurdha Sanhida', an organization to promote tele-production with high artistic quality, the keynote address of the event will be delivered by Prof. Kusuma Karunaratne.

A direction of award winning teledrama maker Sudath Rohana, the teledrama was scripted by Dr. Tissa Abeysekera and it starred Janak Premalal, Chandani Seneviratne, Roshan Pilapitiya, Semini Iddamalgoda, Priyankara Ratnayake and Chathurika Peiris in the main cast.

Among the guests who will attend are Dr. D. B. Nihalsingha, Minister of Mass Media, Anura Priyadharshana Yapa, Minister of Cultural Affairs, Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena and Dr. Ranga Wickremasinghe representing the Martin Wickremasinghe Trust Board.

The event will be compered by actor Sathischandra Edirisinghe.
