The Bribery Commission said earlier this week it hoped to complete its investigation in the Lanka Marine Services (LMS) case before the final judgment by the Supreme Court tomorrow.
An official who spoke to The Sunday Times FT said the final report by the Commission, based on the findings of the investigation, would be submitted to Court.
This is in addition to investigations by other respondents in the case such as the Criminal Investigation Division (CID).
The Inspector General of Police, Chairman of the Bribery Commission Justice and Director General of the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Criminal Investigation Division are expected to appear and submit to the Court reports based on their investigations. (NG) |
