Wedding dressing

It’s the month of weddings and here are a few tips on how and what to dress up in, to turn those heads!
For morning weddings wear light and summery colours.

Pink, purple, yellow, green, orange and blue. Avoid pastel tones and details that give a “brides maid” look. Keep it simple yet elegant. For evening, wear more glamorous styles. Beaded and jewelled pieces. Opt for colours such as turquoise blue, violet, red, silver and gold tones.

Avoid white unless you are teaming it up with a contrasting colour. If your dress is heavily worked with beads, stones etc keep your jewellery, shoes, bag simple.

Sarees – try to wear novel one of kind sarees so you don’t blend in with the maze of colours and designs. If you are a large size and want to wear a sleeveless top or dress carry a shawl or wear a bolero. Two piece outfits are also ideal for larger sizes.

Keep hemlines mid calf or floor length. Short lengths are a definite no-no.
