A degree programme that gives students the confidence of an international standard education without having to travel abroad is now being offered by the Productivity and Management Development Division of NIBM. Designed for school leavers, the two degrees being offered under this programme are,
- Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Management
- Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Human Resources Management

The Degrees are offered in collaboration with the University College of Dublin, which has the distinction of having one of the topmost business schools in the world.
The programme is aimed at meeting the growing demand across the region in the fields of two major thrust areas of the business: Business Management and Human Resources Management, and at developing the skills necessary for the participants' chosen area of business. The duration of the programme is four years, consisting two years of full time, and two years of part time study. During the last two years of the degree, students are free to gain work experience to add to their expertise.
Students in this programme will gain a solid conceptual and practical understanding of business and management while gaining a learning experience in which interactive debate is a key educational component. They will further develop the necessary technical, knowledge application, communication, team building and leadership skills consistent with the changing needs of modern day businesses. NIBM aims at facilitating lifelong learning and demands for personal development and confidence building with such high-quality educational programmes.

National Institute of Business Management
The National Institute of Business Management provides management training, education and consultancy services for the public and private sector Institutions and for school leavers. It was first established in 1968 under the purview of the Ministry of Industries and Scientific Affairs in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme, and with International Labour Organisation (ILO) functioning as the Executing Agency. It was subsequently incorporated as the National Institute of Business Management on June 1 1976 by an Act of Parliament namely the National Institute of Business Management Law No. 23 of 1976. This has been subsequently amended by Act No. 29 of 1991. Presently NIBM is functioning as a statutory body under the Ministry of Vocational and Technical Training.
