The Organisation of Professional Associations (OPA) will hold its 22nd Annual Sessions on October 9th and 10th at the Galle Face Hotel, Jubilee Hall/Palm Lounge on the theme "Challenges of the Aftermath of the Cessation of Terrorist Hostilities".
The OPA is the apex body of 43 member associations of more than 50,000 professionals. All major professions such as Medicine, Law, Engineering, Architecture, Economics, Accountancy, Dentistry, Surveying, Agriculture, Computer Science, Banking and Management are represented in the OPA.
The sessions will be inaugurated on Friday October 9 at 4.30 p.m, by Dr. Sarath Amunugama, Minister of Public Administration & Home Affairs & Deputy Minister of Finance. Mr. Ajith Nivard Cabraal Governor of the Central Bank, Sri Lanka will be the Guest of Honour, and Dr. Richard Vokes, Country Director of the Asian Development Bank will deliver the keynote address.
The technical sessions will be held on Saturday 10th from 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. |
