‘Thank you Berty’, the maiden film direction of Tennyson Coorey was started with the Muhurath held in Negombo last week.
In this film debut Tennyson will join his buddy Bandu Samarasinghe together with a number of others including wellknown comedians. Among them are Dilhani Ekanayake, Ananda Wickramage, Mahendra Perera, Anusha Damayanthi, Nilanthi Dias, Cletus Mendis, Manel Wanaguru, Wimal Kumar de Costa, Ronnie Leitch, Ariyasena Gamage, Samanthi Lanerolle, Susila Kottage, Susila Kuragama, Premadasa Vithanage, Rajitha Hiran, Jeevan Handuneththi, Mahinda Pathirage, Don Guy and Teddy Vidyalankara.
‘Thank you Berty’ is produced by Jagath M. Yapa for Galuku Entertainment and Donald Jayantha play the role of assistant director while Ashoka Ariyartane is the Production Executive.
Others who joined the crew are Lalith Thomas and Nimalsiri Rosa as cinematographers, Sumith Hiran Fernando the art director, Indika Udara Lanka the make-up and Somapala Rathnayake the music director.
