Man fined for fishing in Kandy Lake

A man who was arrested for fishing in the Kandy Lake was fined Rs. 2,000 by Chief Magistrate Sumudu Premachandra on Friday.

The man, identified as P. S. Ananda, was charged for fishing in a protected lake.
