When the sports fraternity met at the sacred city of Polonnaruwa for the big event, there was also a party at the MPs brother’s hotel. However the brew that was served there lacked class, they say. Some described it as “Boku Diraals” in their mother tongue.
The big hoax
First they said it was a huge show down south. So everyone was invited to see the VVIP giving away the awards. But, once they learned the VVIP was not going to show up some of the VIPs gathered at the dusty grounds in order to avoid the news hounds.

Some of the big wigs at the Sports Ministry who did not attend the Polonnaruwa event made sure that they were seen by those who mattered by attending the closing ceremony.
