The Awards Presentation of the 'Best Environment Friendly School of the Year - 2009', organized by Green Forest Association, for the second year in succession, was held at the John De Silva Memorial Hall recently.

D.S. Senanayake Primary School, Anuradhapura, Ananda Balika M.V., Kotte, and Eriyagama Sri Pushpadana Model School, Kandy, were placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively.
