The passing out parade of 411 airmen who were successful in the permanent and the volunteer courses was held on Friday.
The salute at the parade was taken by Air Vice Marshal K.V.B. Jayampathy, head of the SLAF Training Faculty.
The occasion was graced with the presence of Commanding Officer Indrajith Weerasooriya and regiment leader Sarath Bandara.
A drill display and a display of martial arts were performed as they were also a part of the training program. Air Vice Marshal Jayampathy said that the trainees were given a training in both martial arts and physical exercises which were essential to keep them physically fit. |
