Two centurions lead in the first week

The Sunday Times-Bata Most Popular Schoolboy cricketer of the Year Contest

With the third edition of the Sunday Times-Bata Schoolboy Cricketer of the Year Contest taking wing we see Anandian Heshan Wimaladharma who scored a huge century against Royal at Reid Avenue last week, taking the top spot with thirty votes against his name.

In the second place is another centurion of last week - young Shehan Fernando who compiled his second century for the season against the Cambrians. Fernando earlier scored a debut century against Ananda.
In the Outstation Contest, G. Ayesh Madushan of Holy Cross leads while Kasun Madusanka from St. Servatius Matara is just four votes behind him.

In the International contest two lads from Lyceum International Wattala - Naushad Nuhuman and Yokanth Ravichandrakumar are in the fray with 18 and 13 votes against their names respectively.
