CMA pre-exam sessions on March 2-4

The Institute of Certified Management Accountants (CMA) will be conducting a pre examination seminar for candidates preparing for the March 2010 examination on March 2 to 4 at the Aquinas University College, Colombo 08.

The objective of the seminar is for CMA students sitting for Technician, Intermediate, Professional I and Professional II stage examinations to obtain practical application of their knowledge and build up their confidence. The revision sessions are mandatory for all candidates sitting for the March 2010 examination, the institute said.

An eminent panel of speakers will conduct sessions for the following stages of the CMA examination - Technician Level – Financial Accounting Fundamentals, Management Accounting Fundamentals, Business Mathematics: Intermediate Level – Financial Accounting and Reporting, Advanced Management Accounting, Taxation: Professional I – Advanced Financial Accounting and Reporting, Strategic Business Management, Information Technology Management: Professional II – Strategic Financial Management, Strategic Management Accounting, Internal Control and Risk Management.
