Channa de Silva, Director General (DG) of Sri Lanka's Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is planning to quit by mid-April, SEC sources said this week.
The sources said he had informed the Commission of his 'intention to leave'. He was likely to quit by mid-April, the sources said. Mr de Silva joined the SEC five years back (he completes five years in March making him the longest serving DG at the stochmarket regulator) after a successful career in the private sector which he plans to re-join. |
