In order to bring about the true understanding of astronomy MAS regularly conducts a series of lectures as well as occasional observation camps. In its role of improving astronomy research, MAS has also been publishing an annual astronomy journal, called Sigma, since 1966. Majority of the content refers to updated issues of astronomy and space science.
