The Hilton Colombo Residence will host its annual tennis gala from June 19-27. The tournament is not a rank altering competition but is tipped by organisers to be just as competitive. Action will be played out in a number of age groups from the Boys and Girls under 10 to the Men’s and Women’s open singles categories.
Matches will be played in a best of three sets format with tie-breakers. Most of the fixtures will be worked off at the Sports Centre of the Hilton Colombo Residence while the remaining matches are scheduled to be conducted at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association (SLTA) courts.
Entries for the tournament will be accepted until June 15 at the Hilton Residence Sports Centre. |
