Emirates has begun daily flights between Colombo and Singapore from July 1.
Emirates flight EK348 now departs Colombo at 14:55 seven days a week and arrives in the Lion City at 21:15. The return flight, EK349 departs Singapore at 00:55 and arrives in Colombo at 01:55. Emirates has deployed its technically advanced Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft on the route, with eight seats in First Class, 42 in Business Class and 304 in Economy and the award-winning ‘ICE’ in-flight entertainment system in all classes, the airline said.
“Singapore remains one of the most popular destinations out of Colombo for shopping, leisure and business travel,” said Devika Ellepola, Emirates Sales Manager in Sri Lanka. “The extra frequencies will help cater to the demand and provide our customers with extra options when planning their itineraries.”
Passengers on Economy Class on Emirates enjoy a generous baggage allowance of 30 kgs, while Business and First Class passengers are provided a baggage allowance of 40 and 50 kgs respectively. |
