Maliban Milk Products (Private Limited has become the first milk foods company in Sri Lanka to acquire three international certifications for quality, food safety and environment from the Sri Lanka Standards Institution.
The three certifications are ISO 9002 for quality management systems, ISO 22000 for food safety management systems and ISO 14000 for environment management system.
Furthermore all Maliban milk products are certified as Halal by the authority in Sri Lanka, All Ceylon Jamiyathul Ulama.
According to Head of Quality control at Maliban Milk Products Ms Theja Gunawardena, "The quality & food safety is our prime focus and all our policies and production facilities are geared to manufacture world class quality milk products. That is one of the main reasons that we have grown in the last year". |
