Cutting Station wins a challenge

The inaugural ‘Hairsport 2010’ organized by Cheryl Gooneratne and The CG Academy held on August 8 at the Taj Samudra saw leading salon ‘The Cutting Station winning the ‘Salon Challenge 2010’.

Ten of the top salons in the country were invited to participate in this event and each salon was given an option of putting forward one or two models to be judged on the total look.

All participating salons set very high standards and creativity and talent was at its very best. At the end of the day the elegant look created by Johann and The Cutting Station emerged a winner.

Earlier, the individual competitions had brought together talent from all around. The Cutting Station headed by Johann which took part in three of the seven events fared extremely well with Rukman Senaratne winning the Senior Gents Fashion Cut & Blow Dry, Leena Gampalagey winning the Evening Hair & Make Up and Suneth Madhawa being placed second in the Junior Gents Trend Cut & Colour.
