If ever there was an opportunity for the music of the 60’s that proved to be perennial to come alive, that opportunity is here in Colombo when the unmistakable brand of music that took the younger generation of yesteryear by storm fills the air at the Sri Lanka Exhibition and Convention Centre on Saturday 18 September at 7.30 p.m.
Memories of John, George, Paul and Ringo – the fabulous Beatles – will be rekindled in a most breathtaking performance by ‘The Fab Beatles’, the Beatles Tribute band from Liverpool.
The evergreen hits such as ‘I saw her standing there’, ‘Rock’n’Roll Music’, ‘Can’t buy me love’, ‘Roll over Beethovan’ and ‘Hard Day’s Night’ will sound just like it did on ‘The Fab Beatles Show’ which will be staged for the first time in Asia.
The group comprises Kev Day as John Lennon, Andy Suthard as Sir Paul McCartney, Steve Hemming as George Harrison and Pete Isbell as Ringo Starr.
The Fab Beatles show is a presentation of Mystere Entertainment, the latest hand in showbiz.
