The Gajaba Supercross on September 26

The Gajaba Supercross, an annual tournament conducted by the army’s Gajaba regiment in partnership with the Sri Lanka Association of Racing Drivers and Riders (SLARDAR), is scheduled to rev off on September 26 at the Super Cross track at Saliyapura in Anuradhapura.

The race, which was inaugurated in 1999, has seen several previous editions which have generated funds for a number of infrastructure development programmes. This year’s race will be graced by current Gajaba regiment Colonel, Major General SWL Daulagala as well as scores of spectators from the Gajaba ranks.
