People's Leasing to import 1000 buses through Ashok Leyland, India

The People's Leasing Company Ltd (PLC) reached an agreement recently in India with Ashok Leyland Ltd to import passenger transport 1000 buses worth US$ 26 million.

The contract is valid for one year with the buses being released on lease terms to customers at a special price, specifically aimed at SMEs outside Colombo metropolitan area, the company said.
