Good answer to call of nature problem

Readers should be grateful for R. M. L. Ratnayake’s letter, “Spare a thought for devotees at the Maligawa.”

What do you do when you have a sudden need to go to the toilet when visiting a place of religious worship or a sacred shrine? Women, children and senior citizens are especially inconvenienced in situations like this.

In his letter, Mr. Ratnayake offers a very practical solution. I hope the Diyawadana Nilame and the relevant authorities have read this letter and are doing something about this long-standing problem.
