Tribute to a maestro

Personalities from the country's arts scene were present when the National Trust of Sri Lanka launched a DVD of a lecture by Tissa Abeysekera made last January under their auspices.

'From Metre to Melody: A Musical Heritage Explored'- the DVD was sponsored by Nations Trust Bank. The ceremony at the Galle Face Hotel featured leading musicians in a tribute to the late Mr. Abeysekera whose contribution to the country's arts scene they honoured.
