New MD at Ceylon Tobacco Company

Sri Lanka’s monopoly tobacco producer, Ceylon Tobacco Company (CTC) has appointed a new Managing Director/CEO with James Yamakaka taking over the reins from Mustanser Ali Khan who has resigned from the board of directors.

The change was notified to the Colombo Stock Exchange on Tuesday. The other directors are Jayampathi D. Bandaranayake (non-executive Chairman), Atif Hasan (Finance Director), and non-executive directors – Deva Rodrigo, Susantha Ratnayake, A. Hewage and Mobasher Raza. Bandaranayake is also chairman of the Board of Investment.
