K.G. Dilshan and K. Himasha Sewwandhi emerged champions at the Two Mile Sea Swim organized by the Gemnu Sports Club of Boosa, Pitiwella.
Both Dilshan and Sewwandhi are from Ambalangoda Water Sports Club. The second place in the men’s event went to A.A.B Tharindu Udyangana whilst the third place went to K.K. Ashen Thushara.
S.K.R. Dilanka (Ambalangoda WSC) took second place in the women’s event. Third place went to G.G. Anjali Thisansala also of Ambalangoda WSC.
Over 175 participants took part in the event held at the Boosa Pitiwella beach and 26 of them were foreigners.
