A.M. Amila Munasinghe of Manthinda Pirivena Vidyalaya, Matara carried away the trophy for the well developed schoolboy at the competition conducted by the Sri Lanka Body Building and Fitness Federation held at the Ananda College Hall in Colombo. The event was sponsored by Advanced Weightgainer.
The chief guest at the event was Deputy Education Minister Vijith Wijemuni Soysa. The second place in this contest went to R.M. Nishanga Mahesh of Kalutara Gnanodhya Maha Vidyalaya. Thethird place went to B.G. Biyanka Mayuranga Perera of Veluwana Vidyalaya Colombo.
Following are the winners of the less than 70 KG to more than KG category: (1) Shagika Eran (Ananda College Colombo), (2) L. Aruna Kanthan (Hindu College Bambalapitiya), (3) M.D. Akila Chinthana (Seventh Day Adventis Higher Education Institute of Kandana).
