War is a beast whose wrath is great,
Boundless destruction its venom can create,
Once unleashed, the world will feel the strength of its feet,
And thousands of hearts will cease to beat.
Millions of men will be spurred by bloodlust,
Opposing parties will fight, shaking the Earth’s very crust,
Into scarlet lakes will
nature transform,
Once a peaceful haven on which animals used to roam.
Jealousy and hatred will spread everywhere,
A deadly plague which none can bear,
So my friends, let us be wary,
And prevent this holocaust which can make everyone’s lives dreary.
