Vidusini Nawagamuwa, a Grade Four student of Visakha Vidyalaya Colombo emerged as the Novices Table Tennis Champion at the All Island Intermediate Novices TT Championships 2011 conducted by the Parent’s Table Tennis Association of the Girls’ High School, Mt. Lavinia.

Earlier Vidusini emerged runner-up at the Colombo District Junior TT Championships 2011 conducted by the Western Province Table Tennis Association, semi-finalist at the I and D Western Province Open Ranking TT Championships 2010, semi-finalist at the Sixth Tibhar Intermediate Novices All Island TT Championships 2010 and semi-finalist at the Wellawatte Sports Club All Island Intermediate Novices TT Championships 2010 as well. She is coached by Mrs. Namal Gunasekera.
