Dell partners with Samson IT in Sri Lanka

Dell recently announced the addition of Samson Information Technologies (Pvt) Ltd (Samson IT) to the list of Dell partners in Sri Lanka. Samson IT, a member of the DSI Samson Group, will now distribute Dell’s suite of commercial, consumer and enterprise products and solutions.

“This partnership marks the first time that Samson IT has been appointed as a distributor for a global ICT brand such as Dell. As an authorized distributor, Samson IT will expand its product portfolio to include Dell’s commercial Vostro, Optiplex and Precision desktops and workstations, and Vostro and Latitude notebooks, the Inspiron and Studio consumer series, as well as PowerEdge servers and storage solutions. Dell and Samson IT will work together to provide customers with added benefits such as faster delivery and professional after-sales support,” Dell said in a press release.

Shermal Jayatilaka, Dell’s Country Manager for Sri Lanka, said they believe that Samson IT’s nationwide presence will be a great channel for Dell to broaden its reach to consumers and businesses in Sri Lanka.
