Lalith G. Wickramasinghe, a Polymer Technologist cum Chartered Chemist, has completed over three decades in the Polymer industry.
Mr Wickramasinghe says he began his career in 1978 at Bata Shoe Company of (Ceylon ) Ltd as Laboratory Trainee and gained experience in most aspects in rubber technology covering rubber processing techniques, product development, quality control and documentation systems.
Thereafter he joined Chemical Industries (Colombo) Ltd and during his tenure there followed the rubber technology course conducted by the University of Moratuwa and successfully completed the Licentiateship examination of the Plastic & Rubber Institute of U.K in 1981.
He has also served at many other organisations including Harrisons & Crossfied (Colombo) Ltd and Mackwoods Ltd. Subsequently he started his own organization - International Chemical Co. engaged in marketing of industrial chemicals for rubber, paint, plastic, textile and adhesive industry.
