Thilanka Hotel in Kandy won two top awards in Cocktail Championships this year.
Janaka Abesiriwardana and H.G. Wijesiri of the hotel brought the honour to the hotel winning the ‘Flair & Cocktail Champions 2011’ and ‘ABSOLUTE Bar tenders challenge 2011’ held in Kandy recently
Janaka Abesiriwardana is the winner of ‘Flair & Cocktail Champions and Wjesiri won the flair category in the Kandy region defeating 16 competitors in the region.
Both made Thilanka proud qualifying for the finals of the 20th Marie Bizard & Skyy National Bar tenders competition 2011 which will be held on 27 July.
Janaka was the winner of the flairing category and Wijesiri was the 1st runner up of the classic category at the Kandy regional competition. |
