In the past few weeks I was
immersed in books,
I don’t know how many hours I took,
Studying, studying,
studying, studying,
Solving, finding, learning and reading.

I didn’t watch TV, I couldn’t play ball,
I couldn’t play the piano at all,
In every free time at every small nook,
All I did was studying my books.

But now tests are over,
I’m happy you see,
And free as free as a bird could be,
But marks are on the corner, I better watch out,
The thing that my parents care about.
