Allianz Lanka launches new ‘Medi Care’ product

Allianz Lanka has launched a comprehensive personal health care policy called ‘Allianz Medi Care’ which has special features including the cost of medical malpractice.

The new product has a choice of three schemes ranging from Rs 100,000 to Rs 300,000 annually and it also provides enhanced limits for additional covers at very nominal rates – these include childbirth, hospital cash benefits as well as added critical illness covers.

Special features include meeting the debilitating costs of medical malpractice, the company said in a statement. Allianz Medi Care also takes special care of cancer sufferers, by providing them with an additional allowance of Rs 5,000 per day for vital blood transfusions.
