The book has captured the historical details of Blessed Joseph Vas and his visit to the island disguised as a mendicant in 1687.
Blessed Joseph Vas’ mission included days of travels throughout the island bringing the Eucharist and the sacraments to clandestine groups of Catholics until he found shelter in the Kandyan kingdom where he was able to work freely. Kusum an experienced audio-visual artiste is searching for a producer to join him to make ‘Gowen Amuththek Evith’ to a cinemati production. |
