St Joseph’s taking first lease of the wicket was again mesmerized by big match hero and left arm spinner Julian de Zylva whose four wicket haul saw the Josephians collapse for a score of 142.

St Peter’s in their turn was guided by skipper Shehan Fernando who made a captain’s knock enabling them reach the target in just 26 overs and secure their 17th win in the series.

St Joseph’s lead the series with 19 wins with one match ending in a tie and the other ending in a no decision. St. Joseph’s 142 in 42 overs (Dylan Fernandopulle 25, Fabian Fernando 24 n.o.: Julian de Zylva 4 for 15)

St. Peter’s 146 for 4 in 26 overs (Shehan Fernando 74, Jason Buultjens 30: Shivane Alirajah 2 for 25)
