An IT-based visitor management system used for the recently concluded Sri Lanka Expo 2012 export fair enabled registered visitors to be processed faster as well as being more clearly identified by way of colour coded name tags, according to Peercore IT, the Australian owners of this proprietary software called "iVisit".
Further, the Melbourne headquartered company, which also maintains a Colombo office, noted that key features of this product were its abilities for "fast searching of pre-registered visitors" and "real time visitor attendance reporting". Additionally indicated, "it provides valuable market information using dynamically populated statistical information".
Peercore IT also signalled that Sri Lanka Expo 2012 was a venue where it publicly exhibited its products, including its paperless Warehouse Management System "iWarehouse" and its flagship Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution. The latter which it identified as being a "highly personalised client coordination system, is a combination of business processes and automation technologies and organises information in a centralised repository, manages access across multiple entities, with capabilities to query the information in an efficient way, supports users with role based access to the information, and provides tracking and analysis capabilities of sales and marketing teams. Client leads, product proposals and follow up schedules and a client’s purchase history can also be generated through this system".
According to Peercore IT's Sri Lanka Country Manager Mohamed Subhani Lafir; “Unlike off the shelf software, Peercore owns and writes the source code for our software solutions which means it can be customised to the level of automisation to suit the specific requirement of the client... All our solutions have been developed here at our delivery centre in Colombo”.
