Wild boar snare kills Teldeniya resident

A Teldeniya resident was killed by accidentally stepping on a live electric wire that had been set up to deter wild boar from entering the property of another resident.

The man alleged to have installed the wire has been taken into custody by the Panvila Police, on the orders of Acting Teldeniya Magistrate Sarath Premakumar.

The victim who left his home to go on an errand when he stepped on the wire and was electrocuted.
