The annual General Meeting of the Moratuwa Arts Forum (MAF) was held recently at the Sri Palee banquet Hall in Moratuwa.
Musician Lincoln de Silva of Super ‘Pink n’ Purple’ fame was re elected as the President of Moratuwa Arts Forum for 2012/13.
Priya Peiris was elected General Secretary, while Ivan de Silva was appointed to the Treasurer Post of the Forum. Hiran Fernando, Jagath Peiris and Suranga Fernando were elected as Assistant President, Asst. secretary and Asst. Treasurer respectively.Lankika Perera, Thilak Perera, Chanaka Perera, Brian Cooray, Laksiri Fernando, Lakma Salgado, Hensley Fernando, Nihal Fernando, Mala Baharathi and Chandani Silva were elected to the working committee.
The Theme song of MAF, penned by Priya Peiris of Labambas with the music direction of Nihal Ferrnando of NiRo 4, was sung by Lalith and Janadari Salgado at the ceremony.A dance act was done by the students of Varuni Cooray. |
