The launch of the biography of Lal Perera, who completed 50 years of continuous service at St. Peter's College, Bambalapitiya., was held in a ceremony at the school hall recently, edited by Upul Devapriya, former student by the name of "Asu Piru Than Piri Lal",

His Eminence Bishop Anton Ranjith participated as the Chief Guest. It was unoque l that the current Principal of the school, Rev. Fr. Rohitha Rodrigo, and all the past Principals who are currently alive, participated.
Other invited fathers, former students including the current President of the Old Boys Association, Roshan Fernando, the teaching staff, representatives of the Old Boys Association, guests and well-wishers were also present.
On this occasion, The Chance Sports Chairman Lasantha Amarasinghe, who attended as a guest, made a financial donation to Lal Perera while Former Principal Father Trevor Martin and His Eminence Bishop Anton Ranjith were present on the stage.
